Smartphone apps are now being used to determine whether or not a snorer has obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), according to an article by the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine.
OSA has serious health effects and can be dangerous is left untreated. By using an at-home app, users are able to determine whether or not they have the sleep disorder and monitor their sleep apnea in order to take control of their health.
